REMINDER: If a student is absent – They are responsible for doing the assignment posted in Google Classroom and/or coming to my classroom at 7:30 the morning they return to ask about missed work. It is the student’s responsibility to check on missing assignments.
Monday – Test corrections
Tuesday – Christmas equation brain challenges
Wednesday – Finish any test corrections and missing work – 6th and 7th periods will work on tools for redesigned staar
Thursday – 1st, 3rd, and 5th period – tools for redesigned STAAR – early release
Friday – 2nd, 4th, and 8th period – tools for redesigned STAAR – early release
Due to the rescheduling of the math benchmark, we will have a math semester exam during normal class time on Wednesday and Thursday (12-7 and 12-8). Students will have 2 days to take the test covering all material learned this year.
Monday – Problem-solving and reasonable answer practice in Google Classroom – What is not finished in class will be homework!
Tuesday – Brain Dump Quiz – Benchmark Review
Wednesday – MATH Benchmark
Thursday – Reading Benchmark
Friday – Go over the benchmark
STUDENTS HAVE A QUIZ ON TUESDAY, DECEMBER 6TH OVER THE BENCHMARK BRAIN DUMP. THEY CAN FIND IT IN GOOGLE CLASSROOM AND I GAVE EVERY STUDENT A COPY IN CLASS. PLEASE HAVE THEM MEMORIZE THE SHEET! THE BEST WAY IS TO COPY IT UNTIL THEY CAN DO IT FROM MEMORIZATION.

STUDENTS WHO DO NOT FINISH CLASSWORK WILL NEED TO COMPLETE IT FOR HOMEWORK. STUDENTS WHO DO NOT TURN IN WORK THE NEXT DAY WILL BE ASSIGNED LUNCH DETENTION.
Students need to come prepared for class with pencils and work.

Students will not have a test review this week for signature. They will have an opportunity to create a brain dump (cheat sheet) to use on the test for 5 BONUS points. They received a copy of the cheat sheet in class on FRIDAY.

Tuesday – Quiz on adding and subtracting integers with and without models
Wednesday – multiply integers with models
Thursday – divide integers with models
Friday – multiply and divide integers using algorithms
